Guided by Dr. Gary Fleener, the staff ecologist and farm education coordinator, become immersed in the world of oyster farming with your team. Learn shucking tips and tricks, Hog Island's sustainable aquaculture techniques, and, of course, sample exceptional oysters — all alongside local cheeses, charcuterie, and select beers and wines.
2. Hands-on Cooking x Culinary Artistas
Bring your team together with good food. In this culinary experience guided by the experts at Culinary Artistas, cook your way through a delicious menu in their waterfront kitchen. Pick between menus like Taco Tango (featuring fresh tortillas!), Tokyo Udon Disco (you'll knead the udon dough with your feet), or Pizzettas (because who doesn't love pizza?).
3. Safari Adventure x Safari West Wildlife Preserve
In a truly memorable experience, be guided through the 400-acre wildlife preserve at Safari West. In this private safari, you'll spot amazing animals like wildebeest, rhinos, and more — all while learning about their ancestral homelands and the problems that they face. This safari is paired with your choice of either a seated chef's dinner, or either a "Brews & Buffalos" or "Winos & Rhinos" tasting.
4. Out on the Water x Dogpatch Paddle
Adventure with your team on the water with Dogpatch Paddle. You'll start with a quick lesson on basic tips and techniques, before venturing out to the water off of Crane Cove Park to explore the spectacular urban waterfront. Keep an eye out for wildlife like birds, seals, and more, while getting to know your team better in spectacular surroundings.
5. Scent Blending & Candle Making x Moonshot Studio
Each team member will create their own signature fragrance blends and custom candles in a fun process of “scentsory” discovery. You'll discover 80+ fragrances, pick out your favorites to make your own custom blend at our blending bar, then pour your custom scent-blends into the wax-filled vessel selected by each participant.
